Low Carb Banana & Blueberry Shake

Banana & Blueberry Smoothie


Ingredients:
1/2 of a banana
1/2 cup of blueberries
1 serve of low carb vanilla protein powder
1 tsp honey
3/4 cup of almond milk (unsweetened) 
5 ice cubes



Throw it all in the blender or use a stick 
blender, blend it until smooth... then drink!

Total carbohydrates 35g
Total fat 6g
Total protein 23g

It's a really simple and great tasting shake and makes a great breakfast.
This is my favourite thing to make after a workout when you should be eating a meal but don't feel like food. It is fairly high in carbohydrates, but they are all natural sugars and the banana and blueberries have heaps of vitamins and antioxidants.

The protein powder you use should have approx 100 calories in each serve, there are some with much more so read the label before you buy.
